Together, we can create an opportunity for people to come, explore and learn about “trees in a natural environment”. Our members sustain the Pine Hollow Arboretum in many crucial ways. Your contribution goes directly to maintain the collection of over 3,300 trees, shrubs and other woody plants from around the world and to support environmental education in a living laboratory. Thanks to the vital support of membership, the arboretum has been able to hire a part-time horticulturist for the purposes of preserving and expanding the collection, enhancing visitor experience, and keeping plant records up-to-date. Our members help spread the word about this important regional resource and infuse the endeavor with energy and enthusiasm. With the participation of our member-volunteers, we are able to meet and greet visitors on weekends and to offer special events for the community.
As a benefit to our memberships, Pine Hollow Arboretum subscribes to the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Admissions Program. This program offers free admission and/or additional benefits at nearly 300 gardens throughout North America and the Cayman Islands. Your membership card is required to take advantage of this opportunity. Please visit www.ahs.org for more information.
