Open to all levels of writing experience

Haiku is written all over the world and is a simple and wonderful way to relate our experiences with nature.

Michael Czarnecki has been writing haiku for decades. He is returning to Pine Hollow Arboretum for his third year and will present different forms of Japanese writings and historical material on the Haiku.

In this workshop he’ll explain what haiku is,
share haiku from various poets and then we’ll write our own haiku.

He who creates three to five haiku poems during a lifetime is a haiku poet. He who attains to completes ten is a master.
