Kim has been involved with the Pine Arboretum for 3 years, most recently as President of the Board of Trustees of PHA. She is presently a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at M&T Bank.
Kim lives in Slingerlands with her husband and two daughters. In her free time she enjoys gardening, reading and travel.
Dawn has been involved with the Pine Hollow Arboretum for over 5 years and serves as our Vice President of the Board of Trustees. Dawn is the daughter-in-law of our Founder, Dr. John W. Abbuhl. Dawn is a NYS Licensed Psychologist, and President of Repeat Business Systems, Inc., and serves on numerous boards and committees.

Bob has been involved with the Pine Hollow Arboretum for over 10 years and serves as the Treasurer. He grew up in the Bronx, farm from any trees, but gained an appreciation for nature during his years at Boy Scout camp. He has served as a member and past president of the Board of Directors of the Friends of Five Rivers, a community member

He grew up in the Bronx, farm from any trees, but gained an appreciation for nature during his years at Boy Scout camp. He has served as a member and past president of the Board of Directors of the Friends of Five Rivers, a community member of the Institutional Review Board of Albany Medical College and public member of the NYS Board of Nursing. Bob has Ph.D. in pharmacology and spent his career in pharmacologic research.
Diane has been involved with the Pine Hollow Arboretum for over 5 years and serves as the Secretary. She is a life-long resident of the Capital District, is a rose gardener and enthusiast. Born and raised in Schenectady, she is a graduate of St. Rose and Albany Law School. Prior to her retirement, Diane was employed for over 30 years as a
Diane has been involved with the Pine Hollow Arboretum for over 5 years and serves as the Secretary. She is a life-long resident of the Capital District, is a rose gardener and enthusiast. Born and raised in Schenectady, she is a graduate of St. Rose and Albany Law School. Prior to her retirement, Diane was employed for over 30 years as an attorney for the NYS Office of Children and Family Services. She is also an avid singer and currently president of the Octavo Singers of Schenectady.

Scott has spent most of his career helping start up organizations or those going through major culture and organization change to achieve their business objectives. He is a graduate of Industrial and Labor Relations School, Cornell University and The Lally School of Business at RPI. Recently was Chair of the Board at Jewish Family Service

He is a graduate of Industrial and Labor Relations School, Cornell University and The Lally School of Business at RPI. Recently was Chair of the Board at Jewish Family Services and a current Board Member, and a Board Member at the Albany JCC.
Michael previously served as the Director of the NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. He is a talented jazz player and lives in Delmar.
Alan has been our longest serving Board Member of the Pine Hollow Arboretum and is a published poet. He is Director of the Rootdrinker Institute and uses Benevolent Bird Press to publish the work of fellow writers and artists. He is co-founder and on-going chronicler of The Cloudburst Council, an annual poets' gathering help in the Finger
Alan has been our longest serving Board Member of the Pine Hollow Arboretum and is a published poet. He is Director of the Rootdrinker Institute and uses Benevolent Bird Press to publish the work of fellow writers and artists. He is co-founder and on-going chronicler of The Cloudburst Council, an annual poets' gathering help in the Finger Lakes. Alan has planted over a thousand trees on this property in the Adirondacks.
Mike has recently re-joined our Board of the Pine Hollow Arboretum in Spring 2023, however he was a Board Member for many years prior. Mike is the current Middle School Principal for Bethlehem and has been for the last 12 years. Mike is crucial to the success of PHA'S environmental education programs.

Katy previously served as the Communication Project Manager at the New York State Hospitality and

Communications Manager at the Alzheimer’s Association of Northeastern New York.
Katy currently serves on the marketing committees for the Downtown Albany Business Improvement
District and the New York State Tourism Industry Association.

Christian is an arborist based in Troy, NY and is very fortunate to spend much of his time in tree canopies all over the capital region. When he is on the ground he can be found raising two children, gardening every bit of space available, renovating old buildings in creative ways, and stewarding land in an urban context including the permaculture food forest Collard City growers. He is a firm believer that the land is the greatest teacher and hopes to pass his enthusiasm for conscious land stewardship on to the next generation.
