Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community, meet people with similar interests, learn new skills and have fun! Pine Hollow Arboretum is a non-profit organization so volunteers are vital to our success! If you are interested in joining a great group of energetic, tree-loving people who value nature, please consider lending a hand. Our volunteers fill many roles. Whether it’s a project outdoors or inside, there’s something for everyone!
Some ways you could help include:
· Gardening, trail maintenance and upkeep projects around the arboretum
· Being a greeter at the Visitor Center on weekends (flexible hours)
· Computer work to assist in new projects and to help maintain our collection database
· Membership administration
· Pitching in at various events held throughout the year
If you want to learn more about how you can help make a difference, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Kay Abbuhl at kabbuhl@aol.com. We can’t do it without you!
Check out the Calendar of Events or our blog to see what’s happening at the arboretum.
